Gabriel Urgell Reyes

Gabriel Urgell Reyes is a multifaceted musician with extensive experience as a pianist, composer, and visual artist. Since co-founding CAPITA & NAVIA in February 2018, Gabriel has taken on the roles of Producer and Artistic Director. In addition to this venture, Gabriel has maintained a solo career that began in 1998. As an educator, Gabriel has been teaching Piano, Chamber Music, and Electroacoustic Music at the Conservatoire de Versailles Grand Parc since September 2007 and previously served as a Piano Teacher at the Universidad de las Artes de Cuba from September 2001 to August 2004. Gabriel was also the Official Pianist Soloist for the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Cuba between January 2000 and August 2004. Gabriel's formal education includes degrees from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse and the Universidad de las Artes de Cuba, culminating in advanced studies in chamber music and concert piano performance.
