Bilal Mushtaq, MD, MBA has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Bilal 'smost recent position is as the Senior Vice President at Corro Clinical by Versalus Health, a role they began in November 2022. Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Paramount Health Solutions from September 2018 to October 2022, when the company was acquired by CorroHealth.

Dr. Mushtaq also served as the Chief Medical Officer of Harmony Healthcare—Human Capital Management and Consulting Solutions from May 2018 to April 2019, where they provided strategic solutions to healthcare organizations to improve clinical and financial outcomes. Bilal was a Regional Chief Medical Officer and later the Executive Vice President-CDI at Accuity Delivery Systems from July 2016 to May 2018. Before that, they worked as the Senior Director of Clinical Documentation Improvement at UnitedHealth Group from January 2016 to June 2016.

Additionally, Dr. Mushtaq held multiple roles at Community Health Systems, including Associate Physician Advisor & Physician Champion and Corporate Director of PHIIP, where they supported and developed Clinical Documentation Improvement programs for over 30 hospitals in Division V. Bilal also worked in Health Information Management at Prime Healthcare Services and held a position at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County.

Throughout their career, Dr. Mushtaq has demonstrated expertise in healthcare management, revenue cycle management, consulting services, and clinical documentation improvement.

Bilal Mushtaq, MD, MBA has completed several degrees and certifications in the field of medicine and healthcare administration. Bilal attended Windsor University School of Medicine where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD). Bilal then pursued their interest in healthcare management and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Healthcare Management at Davenport University. Additionally, they obtained a Post Graduate Certificate (PGCert) in Strategic Management from the same institution.

To further their knowledge and expertise, Bilal Mushtaq also pursued a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Walden University. Prior to their higher education, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a High School Diploma from Aitchison College.

In addition to their formal education, Bilal Mushtaq has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional qualifications.
