Gio Garces

Gio Garces has extensive work experience in the manufacturing and supply chain industry. Gio started their career at Davis Vision in 1993, where they held various roles such as Finishing Laboratory Technician, Research/Redo Manager, and Laboratory Operations Manager. Gio then became the Director of Lab Operations and later the Director of Manufacturing. In 2002, they took on the role of Corporate ISO Representative, managing and monitoring Davis Vision's Quality Management System. In 2005, they became the AVP Manufacturing at Davis Vision. In 2018, they moved to Versant Health, where they started as the Assistant Vice President of Laboratory Operations and is currently the Vice President of Manufacturing & Supply Chain. In these roles, they have been responsible for managing production practices, negotiating contracts and agreements, and overseeing compliance with industry standards.

Gio Garces attended Suffolk County Community College from 1994 to 1997. During this time, they did not complete a degree or specify a field of study. In addition, they participated in LEAP Training to obtain a Bilingual degree in Spanish. Gio also became a Fellow at the National Academy of Opticianry, but the specific duration of this program is not mentioned.
