Jay Jorgensen

Jay Jorgensen is an experienced data analyst currently serving as a Data Analyst II at the New York State Department of Health since June 2024. Previously, Jay held the position of Senior Data Analyst at Versant Health (Davis Vision) from October 2013 to February 2024, where responsibilities included handling ad hoc report requests and automating systems to ensure regulatory compliance. Prior to that, Jay worked at MVP Health Care for nearly a decade in various roles, including Lead - Business Application Developer, Supervisor - Admin Reporting, and Reporting Specialist – IT, managing reporting systems and supervising staff across multiple locations. Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from SUNY Brockport and an Associate Applied Science degree in Data Processing from Ulster County Community College.
