Carlo Rizzuto

Carlo Rizzuto is a Partner at Versant Ventures. Carlo was previously with Novartis from June 2010 to October 2012 as Global Program Team Director, where they led a global, cross-functional team developing intelligent medicines by integrating electronics and pharmaceuticals to enable remote patient monitoring/e-health applications. From January 2009 to January 2010, they were Assistant to the CEO - Pharmaceuticals at Novartis. Prior to that, they were with McKinsey & Company from September 2002 to December 2008 as an Associate Principal. Carlo also served as CEO of Highline Therapeutics from March 2015 to July 2022.

Carlo Rizzuto graduated from Miller Place High School before going on to study biology at the University of Virginia. Carlo then went on to earn their PhD in virology from Harvard University.

They are on a team with Elizabeth Alcamo - VP, IR & Communications, Kirk Nielsen - Managing Director, and Charles Warden - Managing Director. Carlo Rizzuto reports to Brad Bolzon, Chairman & Managing Director.
