Kalman Wijaya

Kalman Wijaya is currently the Head of Market Access at Versantis. Kalman has over 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on market access, pricing, and outcome research.

Kalman started their career in market access at Boehringer Ingelheim in 2013. In their role as Senior Manager of Market Access, Pricing, Outcome Research and Public Affairs, they were responsible for developing and implementing market access strategies for Boehringer Ingelheim's portfolio of products. Kalman also conducted research on the efficacy of various treatments and worked with policy makers to create position papers on the value of new treatments.

In 2015, Kalman left Boehringer Ingelheim to join Abbott as their Global Market Access and Policy Senior Manager. In this role, they were responsible for leading Abbott's pricing and access activities for new product launches, as well as developing access strategies for pipeline products. Kalman also gathered payer intelligence on biomarkers across key markets globally and created policy position papers on the value of biomarkers.

Kalman left Abbott in 2019 to join Philip Morris International as their Global Fiscal Affairs Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing Philip Morris International's fiscal affairs and ensuring compliance with global regulations.

Kalman joined Versantis in 2020 as their Head of Market Access. In this role, they are responsible for leading Versantis' pricing and access activities, developing access strategies for new products, and conducting research on the efficacy of various treatments.

Kalman Wijaya has a diploma in Medicine Policy Decision Making in Health and Insurance System of Health and Policy from Harvard Medical School, a Master of Business and Administration (MBA) from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, a Diploma in Health Economics & Modelling from University of Liverpool, a Diploma in Health Economics and Health Policy from University of Indonesia, and is a Pharmacist and Graduate from Institut Teknologi Bandung.
