Charles “Randy” Hunt

Charles "Randy" Hunt, PMP, CPF has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Charles “Randy” currently serves as the Director of the Project Management Office at FivePoint Solutions, where they manage three portfolios of applications for Judicial and Law Enforcement agencies. In this role, they provide portfolio rollup of all projects to company executives on a weekly basis and leads teams of IT Developers in the design and program development of software applications.

Prior to their current position, Randy worked at PMAlliance, where they held the roles of Client Executive and Senior Project Management Consultant. Here, they provided project management methodology services on financial and internet IT initiatives for Fortune 500 and non-profit companies. Charles “Randy” directed global cross-functional teams and led multifunctional projects to deliver large, fast-paced, and integrated IT initiatives within the original scope and on target 90% of the time.

Before joining PMAlliance, Randy worked at Worldspan, where they served as an IT Team Lead/Applications Engineer, Lead Programmer/Analyst, and Group Leader. During their time at Worldspan, they led teams of programmers and successfully implemented projects that improved processes and efficiency for Delta Air Lines. Charles “Randy” also mentored and directed a team of developers, managed an office of mainframe developers, and implemented and supported ticketing and boarding pass software applications.

Randy began their career at Delta Air Lines as a Programmer and later served as a Senior Programmer and IT Project Manager. During their time at Delta, they coordinated the implementation of a new industry-standard ticketing application that enhanced the company's productivity and profitability.

Overall, Randy has extensive experience in project management, team leadership, and software development, and has worked with various organizations to deliver successful IT initiatives.

Charles "Randy" Hunt, PMP, CPF has a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, obtained from 2017 to 2021. Charles “Randy” also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Physics and an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Science from the University of West Georgia, obtained from 1981 to 1985. In addition to their education, they have certifications including IAF Certified Professional Facilitator from The International Association of Facilitators, obtained in 2008, and Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute, obtained in 2007. Charles “Randy” also has Green Belt certifications in DMEDI and DMAIC from 6-Sigma, obtained in 2007.
