Eishay Smith

Eishay Smith has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Eishay is currently serving as the CTO, Head of Product, and GM of Israel at Versatile since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the VP of Engineering at Carbon Health from May 2021 to January 2023. At Google, Eishay held various roles, including leading the GMail and Hangouts Chat Clients Infrastructure from August 2019 to April 2021, and leading the G Suite Enterprise Security & Alert Centers from July 2016 to August 2019.

Before joining Google, Eishay founded and served as CEO of Kifi, a personal and team knowledge management network, from August 2012 to July 2016. Eishay also held the role of Founder & CTO at Kifi from August 2012 to April 2015. Eishay's entrepreneurial experience also includes co-founding Netwallet, where they served as Co-founder and CTO from February 2012 to August 2012.

Early in their career, Eishay worked at well-known companies such as Netflix as a Software Engineer from July 2011 to January 2012, Wealthfront Inc. as Director of Engineering from September 2009 to June 2011, and LinkedIn as a Principal Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer from August 2007 to September 2009.

Eishay's earlier work experience includes roles at IBM Almaden Research Center, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer and played a lead role in projects such as Almaden's Eclipse OHF and the Healthcare Service Bus from March 1999 to July 2007. Throughout their career, Eishay has demonstrated expertise in various areas, including engineering management, software development, and entrepreneurship.

Eishay Smith attended Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Software Engineering.
