Dave Updegraff, MSS

Dave Updegraff, MSS has a long and varied work experience. In 2016, they began working for Versay Solutions as Vice President, responsible for the design and delivery of next generation communications technologies for multiple Fortune 500 companies. From 2007 to 2016, they worked for the Army National Guard in various roles, including G3 Iowa National Guard, J5, Operations Officer (S3) 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, G35 (Chief of Plans), Commander 1-113 Cavalry, 2nd IBCT, 34th Infantry Division, and Chief of Plans Officer, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division. From 2012 to 2016, they worked for Motorola Solutions as an Engineering Manager and Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff. From 1993 to 2012, they worked for Motorola Solutions as an Engineering Manager, Principal Staff Engineer, and Lead Engineer. From 2002 to 2007, they worked for 1-113 Cavalry, 2nd IBCT, 34th Infantry Division as an Operations Officer (S3) and Plans Officer, Assistant Operations Officer. Finally, from 1998 to 2002, they worked for B Troop, 1-113 Cavalry, 2nd IBCT, 34th Infantry Division as Commander.

Dave Updegraff obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from Iowa State University. Dave then attended U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. In 2014, they earned a Master of Strategic Studies Degree (MSS) from The United States Army War College in the field of Military Strategic Studies, General. Dave also holds a TS/SCI certification.
