Romain Beget

Romain Beget has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Romain currently works at Verse as a Product Lead in the banking sector since 2021.

Prior to their current role, Romain spent a significant amount of time at trivago. From 2018 to 2021, they served as the Principal Product Manager for the core product. During this time, they also took on the responsibility of leading the vision and strategy of the Data products tribe, managing a team of engineers, data scientists, and product managers across two offices. Romain played a key role in driving the migration of content and data from a monolith system to microservices, streamlining processes and improving efficiency. Additionally, Romain led the acquisition of TripHappy by trivago, successfully integrating the team under their leadership.

Before trivago, Romain held various roles at the EF Education First and Rocket Internet SE. At EF Education First, they served as an Operations Manager from January 2011 to August 2011, and at Rocket Internet SE, they worked as an SEM and SEO Manager for a brief period from August 2011 to December 2011.

Romain Beget completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Université de Poitiers in 2008. Prior to these academic pursuits, Romain received a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Univerzita Mateja Bela v Banskej Bystrici in 2009.
