Isabelle Kalmar

Isabelle Kalmar is an accomplished R&D expert and manager with extensive experience in veterinary nutrition and animal sciences. Currently serving as R&D Expert and R&D Manager at Versele-Laga since June 2018, and as Owner of Venepha BV since October 2019, Isabelle Kalmar has developed a strong background in veterinary science. Previous positions include Sr. Veterinary Scientist - R&D at VEOS from December 2013 to June 2018, and Post-Doctoral Researcher at UGent from October 2011 to October 2013. Early career roles include Research Assistant and Doctoral Candidate at Ghent University from September 2004 to September 2011. Isabelle Kalmar holds multiple degrees from Ghent University and Wageningen University, including MSc in Veterinary Medicine, MSc in Laboratory Animal Science, and PhDs in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences focused on pet bird nutrition and feed additives in poultry.
