Jo-Ann Vandermeiren is an experienced nutritionist currently working at Versele-Laga and Cavalor since April 2023, focusing on equine and small mammal nutrition, respectively. As the owner of Bollebuik since June 2016, Jo-Ann has also held the position of manager and babywearing consultant at The Rainbow Box from June 2015 to May 2023. Previous roles include scientific attaché at ILVO, where involvement in an IWT research project centered on estimating breeding value in pigs occurred, and veterinarian at Veevoeders A. Laroy n.v., specializing in swine health management. Jo-Ann's academic journey includes a PhD at Ghent University focusing on equine nutrition and laminitis, alongside advanced degrees in swine health and medicine. Educational experiences also include studies at Trageschüle Dresden.
