Chief Product Officer at Verses

Hari Thiruvengada has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Hari is currently the VP of Product, Enterprise at VERSES since June 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Enterprise Product and UX at Opendoor from September 2022 to May 2023. From May 2021 to July 2022, Hari was the Senior Director of Product Management at Seegrid. Before that, they held multiple roles at Honeywell, including Global Head of Product Management, North America Design Director, Global Strategic Design Director, Director of User Experience, UX Design Manager, Principal Research Scientist, and Senior Research Scientist. Hari also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Penn State University, an HCI Research Associate at Robert Bosch LLC, and a Research Assistant at both The Pennsylvania State University and Wright State University.

Hari Thiruvengada's education history is as follows:

Hari Thiruvengada obtained a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering & Human Factors from Penn State University, where they studied from 2004 to 2007.

Prior to their Ph.D., Hari Thiruvengada earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering & Human Factors from Penn State University, completing their studies from 2002 to 2004.

In 2002, Hari Thiruvengada also pursued a Master's Degree in Human Factors at Wright State University.

Before their studies in the United States, Hari Thiruvengada obtained an MS degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University at Buffalo in 2000.

Hari Thiruvengada initially began their undergraduate studies in Computer Science & Engineering in 1995 at Sathyabama University. Hari completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Madras in 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Hari Thiruvengada has obtained several certifications. Hari completed the following level certifications from the Pragmatic Institute: PMC Level III, PMC Level IV, PMC Level I, and PMC Level II, all obtained in 2021. Hari also completed a course on Product Management: Building a Product Strategy from LinkedIn in 2021. In 2020, they completed a course on UX Research: Going Guerrilla, also from LinkedIn. Hari Thiruvengada completed a Leadership Development Program from Honeywell in 2018 and Situational Leadership II from The Center for Leadership Studies in 2014. Hari also obtained training in Leadership Training for Managers from Dale Carnegie Training in 2011 and a Six Sigma Green Belt certification in 2009.
