Brendan Best is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and platform development across multiple industries. Most recently, as a Software Engineering Contractor and Director of Platform Engineering at Versett by CBTW, Brendan successfully re-platformed a decade-old application, implemented agile practices, and enhanced client collaboration. Previous roles include Senior Director of Software Engineering at ACTO, where Brendan drove significant improvements in team productivity and software quality, and Director of Engineering at ThoughtWire, where strategic upgrades were made for IoT-driven projects. Brendan's career also includes leading the transition from legacy systems to modern architectures at Rakuten Rewards and OANDA, and fostering technological advancements at Evree Corp, Mirum Agency, CGI, and other organizations. Brendan holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications and Political Science from Carleton University.
