Sameer Shalaby

Sameer Shalaby is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the technology and finance sectors. Currently serving as Founder, President, and Co-CEO of VersiFi, a digital asset trading and lending firm established in August 2022, Sameer leads efforts to enhance trading and borrowing efficiency for institutions through an innovative platform. As Founder and Managing Partner of Select Venture Partners since October 2014, Sameer focuses on investing in early-stage software companies. Previous leadership roles include President and CEO of HazelTree, which specializes in integrated treasury management solutions, and Managing Director at Paladyne Systems, Inc. Sameer also co-founded Cogency Software and TenFold. Sameer holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from The George Washington University.
