Kayla Boykins has a wealth of work experience in the communications and digital marketing space. Kayla began their career in 2017 as a Public Relations Intern at Pathways to Change, where they assisted with drafting press releases, creating brochures/flyers, planning organization events, and managing the social media channels. In the same year, they also worked as a Marketing and Social Media Intern at Chapel Hill Training, managing all forms of social media and creating flyers, advertisements, and video content. In 2018, they worked as a Social Media/Marketing Intern at Fidelity Charitable, a public charity, and as an Athletic Communications Student Assistant and Communications Intern at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2019, they worked as a Junior Associate at Clyde Group, a Senior Account Executive and Account Executive at Bully Pulpit Interactive, and a Senior Account Executive, Onsite Digital Communications Specialist at Stratacomm. Currently, they are an Account Strategy Manager at Vert Digital, leading, maintaining, and managing 8+ client relationships and overseeing paid digital marketing plans and campaigns.
Kayla Boykins attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Journalism with a focus in Public Relations/American Studies. Kayla then attended the UNC School of Media and Journalism and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations.
