Jeffrey Felt, M.D.

Jeffrey Felt, M.D. has had an extensive work experience in the medical field. Jeffrey is the Founder, Director, and CTO of Vertebral Technologies, Inc. (VTI), a spinal device company that develops, manufactures, and markets the InterFuse® Interbody Fusion System. This system allows surgeons to implant larger devices in patients while using a less invasive surgical approach.

Prior to VTI, Dr. Felt founded and served as the CEO and Chairman of Advanced Bio Surfaces, Inc. & ABS Corp. from 1995 to 2012. Jeffrey also founded and served as the Chairman and CEO of Advanced BioSurfaces, Inc. from 1999 to 2007. The OrthoGlide® Medial Knee Implant, developed by this company, offers an alternative to total knee replacement and is intended for the treatment of moderate osteoarthritis of the knee.

Additionally, Dr. Felt was the Founder and Chairman of Disc Dynamics, Inc. from 2000 to 2003. The company developed the DASCOR® technology, providing a minimally invasive surgical alternative for treating degenerative disc disease.

Before their ventures in medical device companies, Dr. Felt had a private practice specializing in Rheumatology. Jeffrey founded and served as the Managing Partner of "Arthritis and Rheumatology Consultants; Rheumatology and Internal Medicine" and was the Medical Director of Minnesota Arthritis Institute. Jeffrey also held positions as the Chief of Rheumatology for the Department of Internal Medicine at Brooke Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and as an Instructor in Medicine for the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota.
