Joan Bolet, Executive MBA

Joan Bolet has extensive work experience in the bioenergy industry. Joan began their career in 2003 at ED & F Man Group, where they were responsible for sales of co-products in the Iberian Peninsula. In 2005, they joined Biocarburantes de Castilla y León as the Sales Manager for Feed Sector co-products. From 2007 to 2009, they worked at Abengoa Bioenergy France, where they were responsible for purchasing cereals and selling co-products. Joan then transferred to Abengoa Bioenergy Netherlands in 2009, taking on the role of Cereal Purchases Responsible & Coproducts Sales. In 2011, they became the Director of Co-products Sales Europe at Abengoa Bioenergy. In 2013, they were promoted to Vice President Trading, a position they held until 2017. Joan is currently the Vice President at Vertex Bioenergy.

Joan Bolet completed their Executive MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Master's Degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Universitat de Lleida between 1995 and 2001, specializing in Agronomic Engineering. During their education, they also received an Erasmus Scholarship from ISA - Universidade Técnica de Lisboa. Although the exact duration is not provided, they also had some involvement with Instituto Eugeni d'Ors. Additionally, Joan Bolet obtained a Seneca Scholarship from the Universidad Publica de Navarra.
