Melanie Horton

Melanie Horton currently serves as the Director of Marketing for Central Services at Vertex Education since February 2025. Previously, Melanie held the role of Director of Marketing at EdTec, where the mission involved supporting public charter schools with operational and performance insights from February 2017 to February 2025. Prior experiences include Director of Business & Marketing at El Camino Real Charter High School, where the focus was on preparing students through a customized academic program, and positions at Fisher-Price and Prudential Real Estate Investors, where research and strategic marketing were key responsibilities. Melanie's educational background includes an MBA in Marketing from UCLA Anderson School of Management, a Master's in Latin American Studies from UCLA, and a Bachelor's in Finance and Spanish from Canisius University.
