Amey Rane

Amey Rane is an experienced professional in health economics and outcomes research, currently serving as Associate Director of Global HEOR at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since August 2025. Previously, Amey held the position of Senior Manager, Thalassemia HEOR indication lead at Agios Pharmaceuticals from September 2022 to August 2025. In addition to these roles, Amey contributed as a Research Presentation Award Judge for ISPOR in May 2023 and served as both a Research Abstract Reviewer and Analyst at Hologic, Inc. from June 2019 to September 2022. Amey's early career included positions as a Cost-Effectiveness Analysis Registry Reviewer at Tufts Medical Center. Amey holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master's Degree in Pharmacoeconomics/Pharmaceutical Economics from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Mumbai.
