Christine Loney

Christine Loney has over two decades of experience in quality systems, primarily in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Quality Systems at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since May 2008, Christine has held various positions at the company, including Director and Associate Director of Quality Systems with a focus on Change Management. Prior to joining Vertex, Christine worked at Amgen from 2002 to 2007 as a Disposition Manager and QA Specialist. Additional experience includes a QA role at Dow Biopharmaceutical Contract Manufacturing from 2000 to 2002 and a position in QC/QA at Copley Pharmaceutical Inc. from 1994 to 2000. Christine earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Stonehill College between 1989 and 1993.
