Daniel Winternitz

Daniel Winternitz, P.E., MBA, is currently the Automation of Machinery & Processes (AMP) Lead at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where they apply their extensive problem-solving and project management skills. Daniel has held several senior engineering positions, including Senior Manager of Process Engineering at Baxter International Inc. and Operations Manager at Flex, demonstrating a strong capability in team leadership and operational excellence. They have a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA in Operations Management from DePaul University. Previously, Daniel completed engineering internships at notable firms such as Motorola and Grumman/Butkus Associates, gaining valuable experience in design and analysis.
