Dr. Nawal Peacock

Dr. Nawal Peacock, MD, serves as the Regional Vice President at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since April 2020, bringing extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to this role, Dr. Peacock was Vice President of Marketing & Innovation for Amgen Europe from May 2018 to April 2020. At Bristol-Myers Squibb, Dr. Peacock held several senior positions from 2003 to 2018, including President General Manager Canada and Vice President Disease Area Lead Europe Oncology, where responsibilities involved building European commercial strategies and leading cross-functional teams. Earlier experience includes roles as General Manager and Business Unit Director of Neuroscience at Bristol-Myers Squibb and training as a General Practitioner in a clinical setting from 1991 to 1994. Dr. Peacock holds an Executive MBA in General Management from INSEAD and a Master's in Management Medical from ESCP Business School.
