Francesca Cardarelli

Francesca Cardarelli, MD, FAST, serves as Senior Medical Director of Clinical Development at Vertex Pharmaceuticals and has previously held senior roles in clinical development at AlloVir. With a strong academic background, Francesca taught as a Lecturer and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, following an Instructor role. Clinical expertise as a Transplant Nephrologist was demonstrated at both Brigham and Women's Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where Francesca also directed the Transplant Onco-nephrology Program. Francesca's education includes degrees from Harvard University and Università degli Studi di Parma.
