Gregory Buonocore

Gregory Buonocore brings over a decade of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Manager of GMP Operations at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since June 2012. In this role, Gregory acts as a cross-functional liaison, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective project execution across departments such as Formulation Development and Quality Assurance. Previously, Gregory held positions at Vertex as Senior Specialist and Senior Scientific Associate, where responsibilities included maintaining GMP facilities, authoring master batch records, and designing laboratory experiments. Prior experience includes roles at Pfizer as a Laboratory Scientist and as a Research Assistant at Eastern Connecticut State University, where laboratory research and educational support were provided. Gregory holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from Eastern Connecticut State University.
