Ian Hawkins

Ian Hawkins is a seasoned professional in the field of regulatory affairs, currently serving as Vice President of Global Regulatory Affairs at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since August 2018. In this role, Ian oversees critical areas including CMC, labelling, regulatory operations, and strategy for CDER-focused products. Prior to this position, Ian held multiple high-level roles at Celgene from 2009 to July 2018, including Vice President of Global Regulatory Strategy and Head of EMEA Regulatory Affairs for Hematology and Oncology. Additionally, Ian's experience includes positions at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Solvay Pharmaceuticals. Ian holds an Executive MBA and an MBA from Henley Business School, as well as a degree from the University of Southampton.
