Jane Knop

Jane Knop is an accomplished marketing and innovation professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Director of Marketing & Innovation Excellence at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since May 2018, Jane emphasizes the importance of marketing and innovation for customer retention and business growth. Previous roles include Associate Director of Brand Management at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, where collaboration with partners and multi-channel promotion strategies were key responsibilities, and various positions at Biogen Idec, including Brand Manager for both Health Care Professional and Patient Marketing, where strategic marketing and branding initiatives were successfully executed. With additional experience in marketing consulting and project management from Cadence Capital Management LLC and FleetBoston Financial, respectively, Jane holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and completed a Strategic Pharmaceutical Marketing Executive Program at The Wharton School.
