Joy Loh

Joy Loh currently serves as the Executive Director of Scientific Communications at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, a position held since May 2024. Prior to this role, Joy held the same title at Alpine Immune Sciences, Inc. from February 2023 to May 2024. Joy's extensive experience at Novartis includes roles as Senior Director of Global Scientific Engagement & Communications, Director of Global Scientific Communications, and Associate Director of Global Scientific Communications from June 2017 to January 2023. Earlier in the career, Joy was the Scientific Director at Articulate Science from January 2016 to June 2017 and served as Medical Director at BioCentric, Inc. in 2015. Joy Loh earned a Postdoctoral Research Scholar degree in the Department of Medicine and a PhD in Molecular Microbiology & Microbial Pathogenesis, both from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
