Juyeon Baik is a Biomedical/Medical Engineering graduate from Tufts University, with significant research and mentoring experience. Currently serving as a Research Trainee at Brigham and Women's Hospital's Coon Lab, Juyeon previously worked as a Mentor for the Science Club for Girls, guiding K-12 students in science exploration and creating live educational content. Juyeon's research endeavors include roles such as a Tufts Gantcher Summer Scholar at Tufts Medical Center, where molecular mechanisms of neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome were characterized, and a Summer Research Intern at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, focusing on the effects of irradiation on spine properties. Additional experiences include volunteering at Massachusetts General Hospital and participating in research internships at Kaplan Lab and Korea University, along with early exposure to marketing in the biomedical field at NanoEnTek, Inc.
