Kevin Daniel

Kevin Daniel is a highly experienced Principal Scientist in Formulation Development at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since February 2020, previously serving as a Senior Scientist and Scientist within the same department. With a strong background in medicinal chemistry and extensive expertise in developing preclinical formulations for clinical trials, Kevin has significantly contributed to various research projects focusing on crystalline forms of APIs, crystallization processes, and formulation development for dosimetry studies. Prior roles include a Scientist in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Formulation Development at Alkermes and a Vertex Fellow in Medicinal Chemistry at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Kevin holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from UC San Diego and a B.A. with Honors in Chemistry and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
