Lucas Collins

Lucas Collins is an experienced professional in the field of cell and gene therapy, currently serving as the Senior Manager for MSAT at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since July 2022. Prior roles include Senior Scientist MSAT and Process Engineer II at Oxford Biomedica, where responsibilities encompassed the technology transfer of novel therapy products. Previously, at CCRM, Lucas held various positions, including MSAT Scientist, Operations Coordinator, and Operations Associate II, focusing on process tech transfer and GMP production projects. Initial experience was gained at RoslinCT as a Lead GMP Cell Therapy Production Scientist, where Lucas contributed to the manufacturing of customized cell therapy products. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Regenerative Medicine from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of York.
