Mnwabisi Mbangata

Mnwabisi Mbangata, PharmD, RPh, is an experienced professional currently serving as Associate Director of Market Access at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since May 2023 and as a Guest Lecturer at USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences since October 2024. Formerly at Eli Lilly and Company from June 2018 to May 2023, Mbangata led payer marketing strategies and contributed to the clinical development of various therapeutic pipelines, emphasizing diversity and inclusion initiatives. Additional roles include adjunct professor at Butler University, hematology/oncology pharmacy intern at Keck Medicine of USC, and internships at Amgen and Celgene, gaining extensive expertise in global pricing, market access, and medical information.
