Monika Warzecha

Monika Warzecha is a Materials Science Senior Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since February 2023, specializing in the advancement of drug substances from early candidates to clinical trials and overseeing solid form control strategies. Monika also serves as an Advanced Characterisation Instrument Scientist at CMAC National Facility, managing projects focused on physical characterization and solid-form screening techniques in partnership with the industry. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Research Associate at CMAC Future Manufacturing Research Hub, where research centered on nanoscale techniques in crystal growth, and guest lecturer at the University of Strathclyde, teaching advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing topics. Monika holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Strathclyde and has a strong background in physical and chemical characterization from earlier research positions.
