Mrunal Vyas

Mrunal Vyas is an experienced leader in data engineering and integration, currently serving as the Director of Data Engineering and API Platforms at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since January 2022. At Vertex, Mrunal is responsible for the delivery and engineering operations of data and advanced analytics platforms, with a focus on AI/ML, API automation, and data governance to enhance decision-making in drug discovery and commercialization. Prior to Vertex, Mrunal held key roles at Bristol Myers Squibb, Johnson & Johnson MedTech, and Sanofi, leading enterprise data and integration initiatives, API strategies, and data management projects. Mrunal's educational background includes a Master of Science in Engineering Management from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Saurashtra University, complemented by further studies in International Business.
