Ricky Mao

Ricky Mao currently serves as the Senior Quality Manager for Labeling and Artwork in GMP Operational Quality at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, a role initiated in November 2024, focusing on managing global labeling and artwork processes for the small molecule division. Prior to this, Ricky held various management and specialist positions at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals from January 2019 to November 2024, providing quality oversight in GMP operations for US finished goods, supporting supply chain quality, and leading projects in document control and continuous improvement. Ricky's earlier experience includes serving as a Document Control Specialist and Change Management Implementer at Instrumentation Laboratory from February 2011 to May 2017. Ricky holds a BFA in Interior Architecture and Design from the Academy of Art University, earned between January 2003 and January 2009.
