Sean Gemunden

Sean Gemunden currently serves as the Director of Corporate Communications Operations at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since September 2024 and is a Board Member of the ESG & CSR Board since July 2022, where participation includes leaders from over 125 of the world's largest companies focused on ESG, social impact, and sustainability. Prior experience includes serving as Associate Director of Corporate Positioning and Reputation at Biogen from January 2022 to September 2024, and as Senior Study Support Associate at Takeda Oncology, where leadership of the Compassionate Use program emphasized oncology. Previous roles also include Senior Clinical Research Coordinator at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Clinical Research Coordinator. Sean holds an MBA from the Questrom School of Business and an MPH from Boston University School of Public Health.
