Udara Dharmasiri

Udara Dharmasiri is a seasoned professional in the fields of biotechnology and analytical chemistry, currently serving as a Senior Manager at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since September 2024. Prior to this role, Udara held various positions including Senior Scientist in Downstream Process Development at Cytiva, contributing to the purification processes for viral vectors and proteins aimed at clinical applications for gene therapy and vaccination. At Pall Life Sciences, leadership was provided in scientific collaborations and product development. Additional experience includes roles at Sarepta Therapeutics, Entegris, and the University of North Carolina, where expertise in molecular biology, process development, and cancer biomarker characterization was demonstrated.
