Yeonui Kwak

Yeonui Kwak is a Computational Genomics Research Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since June 2022, focusing on computational genomics. Previously, Yeonui held the position of Graduate Student at Cornell University from August 2016 to May 2022, specializing in post-transcriptional gene regulation and RNA biology using various sequencing tools. Prior to this, Yeonui worked as a Research Scientist at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology from February to July 2015, where the responsibilities included evaluating small-molecule kinase inhibitors for targeted cancer therapeutics. Yeonui Kwak obtained a Ph.D. in Genetics, Genomics & Development from Cornell University, previously served as an exchange student in biological sciences at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, and holds a B.S. in Biotechnology from Korea University.
