Joshua Agusta

Joshua Agusta has a diverse work experience in venture capital and investment roles. Joshua currently serves as the Executive Director of Investments at Vertex Ventures SE Asia & India, where they focus on investing in high-growth start-ups in Asia. Prior to this, they held positions at the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), the Indonesia Impact Fund, and PT. Mandiri Capital Indonesia (MCI), where they led investment operations and fundraising initiatives. Joshua also served as the Vice President of Investments at MDI Ventures, where they led the investment department and completed notable exits. Joshua has experience in corporate development at Touchpoint Digital Innovations and was an Investment Associate at Systec Group. Joshua began their career with an internship in brand building at Unilever.

Joshua Agusta completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Marketing/Marketing Management from the University of Indonesia between 2009 and 2013. Joshua is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration - MPA from the University of Indonesia, expected to be completed between 2021 and 2023. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "Business Metrics for Data-Driven Companies" from Coursera Course Certificates in 2017.
