Courtney Ewell

Courtney Ewell, SPHR has a diverse work experience in human resources and payroll roles. Courtney is currently serving as the Human Resources Director at The Vertex Companies LLC since 2020. Previously, they worked as a Human Resources Manager and Total Rewards Administrator in the same company.

Before joining The Vertex Companies LLC, Courtney worked at Benchmark Senior Living from 2017 to 2020, where they held the positions of Total Rewards Analyst and Payroll Lead.

From 2016 to 2017, they served as a Supervisor of Human Resources at MCMC LLC. Prior to that, Courtney worked at the Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. from 2014 to 2016, where they held the roles of Sr. Payroll Coordinator and Payroll Administrator.

Their early experience includes various roles at MCMC LLC from 2012 to 2014, starting as an HR Administrative Assistant and progressing to HR/Payroll Administrator and Coordinator positions.

Courtney Ewell, SPHR holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from Southern New Hampshire University. Courtney has also obtained several additional certifications including the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from HRCI in March 2021. In 2020, they obtained certifications in Emotional Intelligence, Mindful Leadership, Wellbeing Administration, and Human Relations in Administration from various institutions such as Whil and Soomo Learning. Courtney also holds the Certified Wellbeing Champion certification from Whil, obtained in 2021.
