Andy Hallsworth

Andy Hallsworth has over 25 years of experience in VAT advisory and solution engineering. Currently serving in Solution Engineering at Vertex Inc. since September 2007, Andy focuses on global VAT automation software solutions, including tax engines and compliance eInvoicing. Prior experience includes roles as a VAT Adviser at SOC VAT Consultants, specializing in the not-for-profit, education, and charity sectors, and as a VAT Manager at the University of Oxford, where in-house VAT advice and management of VAT within the Oracle ERP system were responsibilities. Previously, Andy worked as a VAT Adviser at PwC, achieving an ATII qualification with a first-time pass in November 2000. Andy holds a degree in Literae Humaniores from the University of Oxford, completed in 1996, with a focus on Ancient Languages, Philosophy, and Ancient History.
