Michael Cervenka

Michael Cervenka has over 25 years of experience in the aerospace industry. Michael is currently the President of Vertical Aerospace, a company that is revolutionizing electric flight.

Prior to joining Vertical Aerospace, Michael held various leadership positions at International Aero Engines and Rolls-Royce. At IAE, they were responsible for managing all in-service issues on the Fan, LPC, HPC, Oil System and Gearbox. Michael was also accountable for engine safety, developing on-wing and overhaul maintenance strategies and supporting 2500 engines in 80 airlines and 9 overhaul shops.

At Rolls-Royce, Michael held the position of Head of Future Business Propositions. In this role, they were responsible for developing long-term strategies for the company. Michael was also a member of the Steady State Performance Team for the Trent 900 engine.

Michael has played a significant role in the aerospace industry and has been instrumental in developing innovative fleet management strategies. Michael is a highly respected leader with extensive experience in managing difficult customer issues.

Michael Cervenka was educated at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where they studied aeronautical engineering. Michael then went on to study at the University of Bristol, before completing their education at St Albans School and the Purcell School for Young Musicians.

Their manager is Stephen Fitzpatrick, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Tim Williams - Chief Engineer, Madhu Bhabuta - CIO, and Eduardo Dominguez Puerta - CCO.
