Thomas Pratt

Thomas Pratt is an experienced engineering professional specializing in flight control systems and servo control systems. Currently serving as a Flight Control Systems Engineer at Vertical Aerospace since April 2022, Thomas previously completed a PhD in Advanced Composites at the University of Bristol from October 2020 to March 2022. Prior to this academic experience, Thomas held several engineering roles, including Principal Servo Control Systems Engineer and Aerospace Systems Engineer at MBDA from January 2016 to October 2020 and June 2013 to January 2015, respectively. Additional experience includes a role as Servo Control Systems Design Engineer at Instro Precision Limited in 2015 and as an Aerospace Systems Engineer at WITTENSTEIN United Kingdom from July 2011 to May 2013. Thomas completed an MEng in Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Bristol in 2011.
