Will T. is an experienced aerospace and engineering professional, currently serving as the Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leader and Airframe Architect at Vertical Aerospace since August 2021, overseeing aircraft certification and product life cycle management. Will is also the Director and Founder of SmartLight.ai, which specializes in AI-driven street lighting solutions. Prior experience includes significant roles at Airbus, where responsibilities spanned from R&T Work Package Leader to Lead Engineer, managing substantial budgets and leading multiple projects focused on innovative aerospace structure designs. Will’s background includes positions at Cathay Pacific Airways, Qantas, RWTH Aachen University, Atkins, and BAE Systems, complemented by an MBA from Aston Business School and a Master's in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Bath.
