Ifat Mazooz

Ifat Mazooz has a diverse work experience in various industries. Ifat currently serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at Vertical Oceans since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an R&D Researcher at Phibro Animal Health from December 2017 to January 2019. From an academic perspective, Ifat held the role of Chief biologist/manager of the marine aquaculture center at the Israel Marine College at Ruppin Academic Center between 2015 and 2017. Ifat also served as the CTO at Seakura from January 2012 to September 2014, where they were responsible for the production process and company protocols. In addition, Ifat worked at "Hachava" from March 2009 to December 2011, where they managed office administration, logistics, and coordinated events and tutorials.

Ifat Mazooz obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Sciences from Ruppin Academic Center from 2002 to 2005. Ifat later pursued a Master of Science degree in Marine Sciences from Bar-Ilan University from 2006 to 2009.
