Johanna McAllister

Johanna McAllister is a talented designer currently employed at Vertical Solutions since July 2020. McAllister holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrated Tangible Media from Carnegie Mellon University, where previous roles included CNC Monitor and Student from August 2015 to May 2020. Additional experience includes positions such as Front Desk Staff at ASCEND Pittsburgh, Design Researcher at Morphing Matter Lab, Installation and Operations Crew Member at Flyspace Productions, 3D Modeler at Peter Coffin Studio, Ceramics Studio Intern at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, Machinist Assistant at Collaborative Machining Center, and Research Assistant at The Frank-Ratchye STUDIO for Creative Inquiry. Throughout these roles, McAllister has developed skills in design, prototyping, art handling, and community engagement.
