Blair Jeffery

Blair joined Vertical as CEO after nine months of engagement as a Strategic Advisor. His 20+ years of leadership and experience in the payments industry was a perfect fit for the growth and evolution of the company.

Prior to joining Vertical, he served as an Executive in Residence at LLR Equity Partners, a $1.8 billion private equity fund closed in October 2020. In this role, Blair leveraged his insights and experience to help LLR identify, evaluate and manage new investment opportunities in the business-to-business (B2B) payments space.

Blair served as Chief Operating Officer of Noventis from 2010 through the acquisition by WEX Inc. in January 2019. During his tenure at Noventis, he was responsible for all operations and managed a network of more than 5,000 bank relationships and 250,000 suppliers. Prior to Noventis, he held senior operations and business development roles with established payment industry players including First Data and high growth FinTech firms including Paymetric (acquired by WorldPay) and Textura (acquired by Oracle).
