Rawad Azar

Rawad Azar is an experienced professional in operations and quality management, currently serving as the Head of Operations at VertiGIS AB since March 2022. Previously, Rawad held several key positions at EDP Consult AB, including Head of Quality, Documentation, and Support, as well as QA Group Manager, demonstrating strong leadership in quality assurance. Rawad also served as Test Manager at Codan Forsikring, one of Denmark's largest insurance companies, and led testing initiatives at Axis Communications AB, where roles included Senior Test Team Leader and QA Coordinator. Other experience includes ownership of a car salon at BilBazar i Ängelholm and IT technician and tester roles at Cerdo Bankpartner AB. Rawad's academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University and various relevant courses from 2006 to 2011.
