Oren Caspi

Oren Caspi is a prominent figure in the field of cardiology, currently serving as the Chairperson of the Israeli National Young Academy of Science in Medicine at The Israel Medical Association since June 2023. With extensive experience at Rambam Health Care Campus since February 2011, Oren holds multiple roles, including Director of the Heart Failure Unit and Director of the RAMBAM Unit of Cardiovascular Research and Innovation. Oren has been an Assistant Professor at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology since June 2003, focusing on cardiovascular regeneration and disease modeling, and has contributed as a lecturer in kidney and cardiovascular physiology. Oren's education includes a PhD in Cardiovascular Regeneration from Technion and a post-graduate fellowship in Heart Failure from the University of Zurich. Oren's past positions also include leadership roles within the Israel Defense Forces' medical committees and as a clinical officer in a children’s emergency room in Malawi.
