Roman van der Haven is a seasoned Lead Character Artist at Vertigo Games, specializing in immersive, narrative-driven VR experiences, particularly for the Metro Awakening VR project. With a robust background in character artistry, Roman previously served as a Senior Character Artist at Force Field Entertainment, where innovative character standards were developed, and contributed to major titles including National Geographic Explore VR. Roman's career includes key roles in art direction and character design across various studios, with foundational experiences in character creation and leadership roles dating back to 2006. A graduate of HKU with a Bachelor of Art and Technology, Roman brings a diverse skill set and strong leadership capabilities to the gaming industry.
